Diagonals of Polygons - Expii

Diagonals in a polygon connect any two vertices (corners) that aren't consecutive (right next to each other). A polygon has s - 3 diagonals at every vertex, where s represents the number of sides the polygon has. That makes a total of ½ [s × (s - 3)] diagonals.
