Limits of Sums, Differences, and Constant Multiples - Expii
To evaluate limits of linear combinations of functions, some helpful rules are: if the limit of f(x) and the limit of g(x) exist at x=a, then the limit of (f+g)(x) is the sum of their limits; the limit of (f-g)(x) is the difference of their limits, and the limit of (cf)(x) is c times the limit of a, for any constant c.
