The day after Thanksgiving, often called "Black Friday", is a day where most American stores give extreme discounts in order to draw shoppers for their holiday gift shopping. Suppose you are able to do all of your gift shopping on that day, choosing to make purchases with the largest discounts, so that all of your gifts are discounted 70% off the regular price. Based on the same total budget you made before the sales, about how many times as much could you buy in total with this method, compared to buying everything at regular price?
