An engineer for Boeing (an aircraft manufacturing company) is designing a commercial airplane. He needs to make sure there is enough room to freely walk in the aisle between two columns of seats. If he knows the length and width of a properly sized aisle, how would he find the area? Assume the shape of an aisle is a rectangle.
