Two species of a plant called spiderwort, are found in many of the same areas in North America. They look almost identical, but one (zigzag spiderwort) blooms in the mid to late summer, and the other (Ohio spiderwort) blooms in the late spring to early summer. What led to the speciation of these two flowers?
