(Video) Baby Puffin's First Swim | National Geographic

by National Geographic

Puffins are a type of bird that lay their eggs on or near beaches. When the eggs hatch, the baby puffins travel towards the ocean for their first swim. The baby puffins can tell where the ocean is because of the reflections of light from the moon on the water.

Sometimes, if the beach is near a city, the baby puffins will get confused. They will see lights from the buildings in the city and walk towards those instead of the ocean. What kind of pollution are the puffins experiencing?
