Golgi Apparatus

The Golgi apparatus is also referred to as the Golgi complex or Golgi body. Golgi is the last name of the Italian physician who developed Golgi staining.

The function of this organelle is to distribute and ship chemical products. Therefore, it can be thought of as the post office of cells and are found in both animal and plant cells.
