Simplicação de uma raiz cubica de uma função

Interactive · 1 question

Take the number back down to one dimension

Taking a number to the 22nd power creates that number's "square": a two-dimensional shape where each edge's length is equal to that number. Taking a number to the 33rd power creates the "cube" of that number, which you can imagine as a three-dimensional shape where the length each side is equal to that number.

If you continue using this logic, a number to the nn power can be thought of as an nn-dimensional shape, where the length of each side is equal to that number.

Roots are the reverse: When you take the root of a number, you're taking that number down to just one dimension. In other words, you're figuring out what the length of any one side of the shape is.

Since taking the root of a number is the opposite operation to applying an exponent to that number, what is (2x+1)33\sqrt[3]{(2x+1)^3}?
