Endosomes and Endocytosis

Endocytosis is a type of bulk transport that involves movement of materials into the cell.

The three types of endocytosis are phagocytosis, pinocytosis, and receptor-mediated endocytosis. All three of these result in forming an endosome, which is a membrane-bound vesicle.
