Stars change with time by exploding or becoming other types of stars.
So here's a yellow star, for example. This star is our Sun. And so, in about 5 billion years, our Sun is going to be about this big (in comparison to it's existing size)
This is because all the hydrogen in our Sun has been converted to helium.
