There are two forces for an object to be at equilibrium: net force and net torque about any arbitrary pivot point must both be 00:

∑F⃗=0\sum\vec{F}=0 ∑τ⃗=0\sum\vec{\tau}=0

Under these conditions, there is nothing to influence its motion. For example, an object at equilibrium will maintain its linear velocity, momentum, angular velocity, etc.

Type a concept, like “slope” or “photosynthesis”.
